An Organization for Persons with Disabilities who Communicate
in Different Ways
Speaking Differently
is a non-profit incorporated organization
that embraces all persons who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
in any way and for any reason and those who communicate with them. AAC users,
family members, friends, students and AAC professionals are all welcome as full,
voting members of SD. SD has many functions including providing information to the public and to government about AAC help to find ways and means of improving the quality of life of
persons who "speak differently".
