families, friends and those who work with them, My name is Anne Abbott and I am
writing to ask you to join a new organization called Speaking
Differently
As a person who communicates differently (I use a laptop computer with voice
output software and a communication board), I know about the problems faced by
persons who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) methods and
the persons important to them.
AAC user: Annual dues: $4.00*
Student: Annual dues: $5.00
Friend: Annual dues: $10.00
Benefactor: Annual dues: $50.00
Patron: Annual dues: $100.00
* No AAC user who wishes to join is refused because of inability to
meet the dues! Non-AAC users can choose their level of support -- friend,
benefactor or patron.
